Care guide

How to Care for Your Extensions

Brush Gently

Use a soft-bristle brush or a wide-tooth comb to gently detangle your extensions. Brush gently. Start from the end (tips)  and work your way up to avoid pulling or breaking the hair. Brushing regularly prevents tangles and keeps the hair looking smooth.

Wash with Care

Extensions don’t need to be washed as often as your natural hair. When washing, use a sulfate-free, gentle shampoo, and focus on cleansing the roots. Avoid scrubbing or tangling the extensions while washing. Always condition the mid-lengths and ends to maintain softness.

Let Them Air Dry

After washing, avoid using heat tools on your extensions as much as possible. Let them air dry naturally to extend their lifespan. If you must blow-dry, use a low-heat setting and a heat protectant spray.

Avoid Heat Damage

Limit the use of hot tools like flat irons and curling irons on your extensions (I didn’t say avoid, I said only to limit lol) . When using heat, always apply a heat protectant spray to protect the hair from damage and keep it healthy-looking.

A Simple Guide

Moisturize Regularly

Hair extensions can become dry over time, so keep them moisturized with leave-in conditioners or lightweight oils. Focus on the ends to prevent them from becoming brittle or split.

Store Extensions Properly

When you’re not wearing your extensions, store them in a cool, dry place. If possible, hang them up or place them in a storage box to avoid tangling. Keeping them clean and properly stored will help them last longer.

Avoid Sleeping with Wet Extensions

Never go to bed with wet hair extensions. This can cause tangling and damage. Always ensure they are completely dry and gently braid them or tie them into a loose ponytail before sleeping to avoid tangling while you sleep.
